Severed Head of Suicide Bomber Who Blew Himself Up in Lebanon

People gathered round to film the remains of a suicide bomber who blew himself up in Choueifat, south of Beirut, Lebanon. His severed head with half the spinal cord still attached attracted attention of several people with their cell phone cameras. City councillors should make a permanent installation out of the head. It would make for an interesting tourist attraction, if even locals are attracted to it.

The suicide bomber wore a belt with explosives on board a passenger van used as a bus. Somehow, he only managed to kill himself and wound two people. One of the wounded was the driver of the van who was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The van was likely not the target. The suicide bomber first attempted to board a taxi but the driver suspected something was not right and refused to let him in his car.
